Lansing Grand River Plant In MI Is Going Full Steam!

It was revealed a week ago and now we know where the production takes place. The production of the 6-generation of GM makes a comeback in the U.S. market, thus the creation of the legendary Camaro changes its plant from the one in Canada to the Lansing Grand River in Michigan.

Nearly $175 million were invested in this production plant in order to welcome the 2016 Camaro. Within the new systems, most specific and important are the two robotic farmers and the 3 paint systems. They are required for the creation of the Camaro, which will come in its unique colors – the summit white, red hot and bright yellow. The new base model will also come with a 2.0 liter turbo 4 that will be able to produce 275 HP. The other versions are V6 and V8 powered SS, with 335HP and 455HP, respectively.
