The Dodge Charger General Lee, or sometimes simply referred to as “the General”, was driven by the Duke boys Bo and Luke. The 1969 Dodge Charger, is best known for its stunts and jumps, signature horn and spectacular police chases. The original car also has its doors welded shut, so the Dukes had to climb in and out through the windows. In the video, we can see how this old car was picked up from the junkyard and transformed into a masterpiece of its own. Its name is a reference to the American Civil War general Robert E. Lee.
