Could This Possibly Be A Super RARE Formula Ferguson (FF) 4×4 Ford Mustang?!

Super Rare Formula Ferguson FF 4x4 Ford Mustang 1 TN

In the Netherlands, a super-rare Formula Ferguson Ford Mustang is up for sale. Even though the 27 years owner says that this is the real deal, we remain skeptical. Having said that, let`s investigate a bit. To start this investigation, we go far back in the early 60`s where the Ferguson P99 F1 racecar managed to become victorious at the Oulton Park running an AWD system. Now, in 1964 the Mustang was gaining a lot of popularity and because of this reason Ford decided to expand the Mustang model. They decided to apply the four-wheel drive system to the Mustang. Because of this reason, Harry Ferguson decided to apply his renowned FF system to the popular Stang.

It`s well documented that Ferguson Research Ltd based in England has applied the FF system on the Mustang. In fact, two `64 hardtop Stangs were sent over. Nevertheless, there was huge feat that the production cost will be too high. Because of this reason, the idea was abandoned. However, one of the prototypes found its way in an Automobile Museum located in Tampa Bay. This alleged Formula Ferguson `70 convertible the opposite from the one residing in Tampa Bay. However, Ford abandoned the idea of a FF Mustang many years before this vehicle was built. Nevertheless, we can`t be 100% sure that Ferguson Research Ltd didn`t produce one more prototype for a friend or a customer.
