And watching it in real life, and having a chance to listen to that unique Mopar engine sound, is like playing one of your favorite tunes, at will.

This legendary Mopar muscle was built on the B-body platform, it is pretty much lightweight, with great performance abilities, and powerful and fast (to earn the name of Road Runner properly), thanks to the Mopar`s 383 cubic inch motor, treated to the heads, camshafts, manifolds from the 440 Magnum, that is giving a total output to a 335 HP and 425 pound feet of torque.

The official report says that before they officially launched the car to the market, Plymouth had to pay $50 000 to the Hollywood studio Warner Bros., for the rights to use the name of Road Runner.
