Everyone is already quite familiar that modified cars come in all shapes and sizes. This is especially true when we speak about their power. One such customized car was this Chevrolet Corvette. The car was so special because it had over 1,000 HP. The limit of supercars has not yet been reached and this car is another brick in the wall of creating perfection. However, what makes this Corvette so special is not its power. Namely, it is also known as Coptimus Prime and there is a very specific reason why this is so!
This car was originally owned by some drug dealers. They surely did have fun with it but soon law enforcers got mixed up the whole story. There was a police raid and the car was seized due to a drug bust and the drivers were obviously arrested. Now, this usually means that after the car is seized, nothing can really be done about it. It is either going to simply sit and rust away in the parking lot or it is going to hit the junk yard. Well, the Coptimus Prime was used for something totally different!
Police officers in the city of Braunfels decided to take advantage of the situation. At the end of the day, destroying one such powerful monster does not really make any sense. There are not a lot of 1,000 HP monsters in the city of New Braunfels, especially not police cars. Well, that was up until the Corvette was turned into one such police car. This is where the car got its name, the mighty Coptimus Prime. However, it was not used as one of the usual police cars after all. No, the car had some other use.
Namely, it was used as a vehicle that is used by the police to reach the public. To show that there are no barriers between the police officers and the civilians. There are a lot of people who believe that police officers are brutal but this act can surely bring the community together. It just shows that the officers are people like everyone of us and that they are contributing for the better with every single action. The name was not actually given by the police themselves. It was actually the community and the children especially who came up with the idea!
Unfortunately, every good story must come to an end and there is another thing which you should to know about the Coptimus Price as well. Namely, after serving its use, the car was then sold at an auction. It did not stay with the police forever. However, everyone is going to remember its contribution and the story about this car is going to be passed on to future generations. We must be honest and say that the car looks awesome in that black and white combination, the colors of the law enforcers.
