Police Officer’s Last Duty Call Gets Very Emotional!

On daily basis we encounter various videos in which we take a look at other people and their everyday lifestyle. Some of these videos make us very emotional hence we see situations in which a man is facing a difficult situation. Hereby, in this one we take a look at the last duty call this police officer made, something that made him very emotional. Namely, on the radio he said “Code 3” i.e. the two words that indicate that his shift has ended. It was his very last duty call and this was a very special moment for him.

His colleagues took a video of the moment and they captured something absolutely amazing. His son answered the call and said how much he was proud of him after serving the NJ police for so long. 28 years ago was the first time when he started working for the Salem Police Department and has not stopped for a single moment, to the day he made his last duty call.



His name is Sergeant Douglas Hogate Sr. and he is currently enjoying in his very well deserved retirement. Even though there are tons of disputes between the police and common everyday people, we must admit that this video is going to definitely melt your heart. Douglas took his glasses off and his eyes got watery as soon as he heard his son`s voice.
