A US M1 Abrams tank had a very unusual mission which is taking on one of the best tennis player – Novak Djokovic. In this CGI video, the tank was given quite a good exercise and needed all of its firepower to compete with the 27 year old`s blistering shots.
Visual effect expert and filmmaker Michael Shanks is the mastermind behind this video, which saw Novak Djokovic take on the iconic American tank at Melbourne Park. This encounter demonstrates the Serb`s incredible backcourt game opposed to the immense power of the American tank, which holds the racket with its gun. The commentators are also hilarious.
The Serb, with a number of cross-court forehands, definitely gave the metal beast a lot to think about. However, the tank`s returning moves were impeccable.
It was a totally different story when Djokovic faced a rocket-like serve that was fired right from the tank`s massive gun. The 27 year old fended these shots off into the stands, resulting in a huge collateral damage.
Novak Djokovic is known as a big sportsman, but the US M1 Abrams tank hardly belong in that category. When the time for a handshake at the net came, the tank blew Djokovic to smithereens. Terrible sportsmanship indeed. Enjoy the video below!
