TANNER FOUST’S DRIFT MONSTER Is VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT V8!

I`m sure that I do not have to introduce Tanner Foust in any special way, as I`m sure that most of you are very well aware about this great drift-driver, and had seen him in action numerous times. And today we have prepared a video clip in which you will meet his new drifting monster, 900 HP Volkswagen Passat V8, probably the sickest VW Passat ever built!

The video is filmed at the Horse Thief Mile, at Rosamond, in California, where Tanner is testing his new VW Passat, which is a furious monster, built for the Formula Drift competition. The car has a rear-wheel drive configuration, and there is a massive and powerful 7.4 liter V8 engine of unknown sourcing (many are pointing out that it is probably a Chevy LS) under the hood, which makes it something completely different from any other VW Passat. In `normal` conditions, this mysterious Volkswagen Passat V8 is generating 700 HP, but when it is running on nitrous, it boosts 900 HP!

Tanner is racing this awesome drift monster both for the Volkswagen, and the Rockstar Energy, in different series (World Rallycross included), and this will be his first return to three Formula D events, after 2010.

So check out the following video and get more up close and personal with this awesome and powerful VW Passat, and find out more about Tanner Foust, and his plans about his career. And if you want to see some great moments from Tanner Foust from the past, go to this link.
