Massive Cruise Ship “Norwegian Joy” Features A Ferrari-Branded Go-Kart Racetrack!

Billed as the world`s first racetrack on a ship, a Ferrari-branded go-kart circuit sits on top of a massive cruise ship named the Norwegian Joy. It`s a two-level racetrack that allows 10 electric go-karts to race on it. It`s built in a joint venture between Norwegian Cruise Lines and Scuderia Ferrari Watches. It features red barriers with the famous Prancing Horse logo displayed prominently. The racetrack is placed on the top floor of the Joy. It will be a fantastic experience that offers racers one breathtaking sight of the sea while laps are turned. Right next to the track, there will be a retail shop where Ferrari watches will be sold.

Ferrari sure knows how to position itself as a world`s leading luxury brand. They are constantly expanding their marketing efforts with watches, clothing, Ferrari World parks, and many other lifestyle experiences. Ferrari aims these moves to expand its customer base beyond just traditional automotive enthusiasts. This massive cruise ship is built specifically for China and will have a capacity for 3,850 passengers. Passengers in certain classes are going to get some free time on the racetrack as part of the accommodations.
