This amazing married couple spent £25.000 to restore a classic car -- Vandals Torched It! Actually it was a beautiful green 1964 MGB that vandals failed to steal, so they torched this classic. Actually the fire was set on the whole block of garages and their car was the only left when they got to the garage. It was heartbreaking they say… We can only imagine.
Mr.Thompson inherited this amazing MGB from his father since 1997 and was the only thing he has left from him. They also used this great convertible as their wedding car in 2015. So, they were emotionally connected with the car in various ways. They still could not understand how someone would want to do such a thing to this beautiful car and what actually they have gained from it.
Anyway, they are trying to be optimists and they hope they will find all the car parts to restore the car again. Hopefully the chassis and the engine can be saved. However, their insurance will not cover the restoration costs, so their family are fundraising trough the GoFundMe website.
