We are all familiar with the typical and rather standard automatic and manual transmission in our cars. Some find driving an automatic easier and it is said it is more economic in terms of fuel economy.
They usually come in standard 5-speed transmission. On the other hand there is the manual transmission, preferred by those who love the speed, the thrill and the excitement. Also considered as “more difficult” to drive than the automatic. All base model cars are equipped with the standard 5-speed manual transmission. But this is not the case with this guy and his way of changing gears! His Kenworth W900 has 20 gears!
That is right. There is a picture of the shift pattern containing all 20 gears. What makes this transmission so much more special is that it requires three gear levers to shift through the gears. You need two hands to control it, so we would assume that this truck is not so safe to drive.
But the way he handles it is fantastic, first of all you need to remember all the gears and their exact position and then to focus on the road while changing gears. So before driving one of these trucks, be sure to remember the shift pattern.
