CLASSIC 1966 PLYMOUTH SATELLITE Feeling The Asphalt Pulse!

It has been a while since we have had a chance to see such a rare classic Mopar specimen drag racing and doing all of those great stuff that we, the ultimate Gearheads love to watch every time! In most cases when we are having a vintage Mopar battling on the strip, we mostly see the 1968 Dodge Charger, or the 1970 HEMI `Cuda with 426ci, and a few others, but a 1966 Plymouth Satellite is most definitely a rare sight. That is why as soon as we ran across this video clip, we felt kind of obliged to share these moments with all of you right away.

And the car in the focus is one greatly prepared 1966 Plymouth Satellite with a glossy red paint job and `evil red eyes`, which seems to be showing what`s cooking under the hood, where the one and only 426 cubic inch HEMI V8 motor is roaring. The place where this drag battle is taking place is the National Trail Raceway, in Ohio.

However, I`m not going to lie to you and tell you that this is one of the fastest performances that I have ever seen by such a Detroit muscle, but it is definitely pretty decent, and deserves our interest. Especially if you respect the Mopar cars.

So check out the video and see the entire performance yourself. Afterwards, you can share your thoughts about it with us in the comment section below! And if you want to learn something more about this great car, the 1966 Plymouth Satellite, go to this link.
