$2,000,000 1969 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 FOUND In JAPAN After 40 Years!

This very rare 1969 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Berlinetta it may not be the most beautiful Ferrari but it was a part of a great racing history. I was very fast race car and has won one of the most famous races like Daytona and Le Mans. Famous celebrities including James Hunt and Princess Diana owned one of these beauties.

More than 1200 Ferrari’s from this model were build for a period of 4 years and 5 of them were officially produced for the race track. The 5 race models were made with a very light aluminium body and the company has also build 1 of 1 street legal race car version. The one that has been now found in a barn in Japan.



This 1969 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Berlinetta (Alloy by Scaglietti) is the only street version, all alloy, 365 GTB/4 Ferrari ever. It will for sure bring in big bucks in ‘barn find’ condition! It will go to auction with a starting price of $1.700.000 this September 9th at the RM Sotheby.

This model had a lot of extra equipment for that time, power windows, Plexiglas headlights, red paint job (Rosso Chiaro), black leather interior and a rare aluminium body. It was inspected by the expert Marcel Massini, who confirmed the car has matching chassis and engine numbers, it has only 36,390 km on the odometer and that it’s in a very good condition having in mind it was left in a barn for 40 years.
